A Special Invitation
We invite you to come and join us each week in worship, service and spiritual formation. We are young and old, male and female, single and married. We are ordinary folks who simply want to encounter the risen Christ in our daily living. Worship here at First Church grows out of the earliest traditions of Christian worship. And yet, it is warm and personal, gracedy the hearts and talents of leaders, musicians, and parishioners. Our goal is simple — to find together the spiritual bread of God's loving presence and share it with others. Welcome!

The Prodigal God
A Bible Study/Video Discussion
Coming to First Church January 11, 6-7pm
In six captivating DVD video sessions, pastor and New York Times bestselling author Timothy Keller opens our eyes to the powerful message of Jesus' best-known—and least understood—parable. The Prodigal God is a revelation of the very heart of the gospel: God's radical love for sinners of every kind. 
Taking participants beyond the traditional focus on the wayward younger son, Dr. Keller helps us glean insights from each of the characters in Jesus' parable: the irreligious younger son, the moralistic elder son, and the Father who lavishes his love on both. The Prodigal God will challenge the devout and the skeptic alike to see Christianity in a whole new way.
Join us on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30! We meet in the Social Hall for an hour of fun, joyful, high-energy exercise! Classes are for both men and women of all ages and fitness levels. The cost is only $3 per session!
